By far the best maid of honor speech I have EVER heard in my life. Look at the photo after to see how much Alex and Alli loved it. Enffie sang a personalized song and had someone hold up the lyrics for her.

Notice the guy on the left, he’s far from the football, but you have to appreciate his effort.

This is a continuation from, well Part I of course.

Moving on to the bridal party photos, couple photos, and finally the reception photos! I don’t even know where to begin with the reception photos. There were a LOT of people and not a drip of alcohol. For most weddings that would be a recipe for a really bland reception. Contrarily, this is the most EXCITING reception I have ever witnessed. I have never in my life seen such craziness (in a good way.) Now, I’ve been to a number of weddings at this point of my life, but there was no way I was ready for what happened at the reception!

They had dances called “Baile del guagolote” “La vivora de la mar” and “Xochipitzahualt.” These dances are in fact as crazy as they sound. At one point they had rubber chickens and broom sticks and half of the reception attendees on the dance floor. The bride and groom were also tossed REALLY high in the air. I can’t even fully explain to you what was going on even though I was there for hours. But I can tell you that it was a LOT of fun. Congratulations again Diana and Alex!

Any reception that starts off  with a shot(s), is going to be a good reception

Photographically, this isn’t the greatest photo. But let me tell you! This one man band whose name is Danny held his own all by himself with a guitar and ukelele. He played amazing music! Anyone who listens to his music would agree. And you know he’s good when everyone (including me) went up to him to ask for a business card. Not only is he talented in singing and playing the guitar, but according to his business card he’s also a swing dance instructor and a gondolier. In case you don’t know what a gondolier is, it’s one of those guys who row a gondola (skinny Italian boats). His music can be found on myspace.com/dannymaika.

These next two photos are what I call brotherly love.

I love this guy, and I don’t even know his name. During his toast he said he cut his shoulder length hair just for Erwin. That’s love man.

This is my good friend Elaine! She’s Erwin’s sister and she’s doing her best not to fall apart emotionally while giving her toast.  Elaine and I used to take advertising class together, and we’d be big procrastinators in our homework, that’s how we got along so well.

I like this photo because he’s all up in there.

The guy wearing a fedora hat is the father of the groom. I don’t know many Asian dads that can pull off a fedora hat, he is the man.

The gentlemen in the pink shirt pulls up a grandma to dance on the dance floor. Shameless! and I love it.

Right after this she yelled “Stop taking photos of me (because she was tearing up) !” I backed off immediately, I didn’t want to get hurt.

They had a second bouquet toss. And let me explain what’s happening in this photo. In the far left there’s two girls who seem like they’re paying attention. Then there’s the girl second from the right who clearly has the bouquet clearly in her hands. But, the girl on her right has a hold of her wrist, and the girl her left has a grip on her elbow.

After examining this photo for a long time, I still couldn’t figure out what was going.  This would be good for a ‘make your own caption.’
