Serena Grace Photography was gracious enough to let me tag-team yet another beautiful wedding. This beautiful wedding belonged to a nice and wonderful couple Rebecca and Richard. To see Serena’s photos click here.
We started off our day at the Pasadena Westin where we captured Rebecca and her bridesmaids getting ready. The Westin hosts both a beautiful interior and and exterior. The lobby area boasted tall dark ceilings while the outdoor courtyards contrarily had ample lighting featuring water fountains and colorful Spanish-style walls. It was gorgeous. Rebecca and Richard had their first look here
Next we traveled to Pasadena’s neighboring city where the ceremony was held at the Glendale Presbyterian Church. Although this church was dark and dramatic, it centered a beautifully well-lit, concave, and giant cross figure. Numerous overhanging colored lights would hover gracefully above where Rebecca and Richard said their vows
For the couple shots we visited the Los Angeles Historic State Park since it was close to the Empress Pavilion where the reception took place. The park proved itself to be a nice little oasis in the midst of downtown. It probably would’ve been nicer if there weren’t so many flies. Two flies kamikaze-d into both of James’s eyes (one of the videographers) at which point we all laughed, except for James. I think one flew into my mouth.
Thanks again to Serena, and congratulations once more to Rebecca and Richard.
This is Serena and I. We love our jobs
