Rain’s good only for a couple of things” free watering of your plants and a free car wash. Not bad, but that’s pretty much all I can think about it. Oh, but also maybe for some freakin’ awesome-super-duper images with Jamila and Andrew!

Meet Jamila and Andrew! They were awesome enough to decide that they wanted to take their engagement photos in the rain. If that’s not awesome enough in itself, Andrew actually proposed to Jamila in the rain in the exact same spot in the first photo. Pretty awesome yeah? They’re also high school sweethearts, and that’s special.

Jamila and Andrew found me on Craigslist… in the personals section… I’m just kidding. This one goes out to David. Thank you David for bringing me this superbly awesome couple!

This made shooting in the rain all worth it!

The first time I saw Lucas, he looked like someone I know. Me. Yeah, he actually kinda looked a lot like me when I was about his age. I told that to Nancy and Garret, and then I told them to rest assured he’s going to grow up looking very handsome.

I love that Lucas didnt any trouble warming up to me. Well he didn’t really like me, but he definitely didn’t dislike me so that’s all I can ask for if I’m taking photos of a baby. I loved that I could follow him around, and since he (like many other babies) is so young, and they don’t have that social awkwardness if people are too close. Babies are too cute to be photographed from far away

Okay, okay, okay! I’m very excited to present to you the engagement photos of Alli and Alex. Alli and I go wayyyyy back. I’d say we were both the few crazy, energetic, funny, outgoing types at the church that we both used to attend. It was truly good seeing her again, and it’s good to know that she’s still the same. This is only my second time meeting Alex, but I like him! He’s a lot more silly than I originally thought, and I told him that. This engagement shoot was a whole lot of fun, and I’m sure you’ll be able to see that from these photos. I was really trying to push for fun, interesting, and out there. We had a lot of laughs just like old times. I loved it.

So Alex teaches chemistry…AND they have chemistry! OHhhhhhh. Haha.
