This wedding couldn’t have been any more beautiful, and Ritchie and Oz couldn’t have been any luckier. Seriously. Hurricane Irene was on it’s way to lay smack down on New York City during the weekend of this wedding. It rained the entire weekend everyday starting from Thursday…everyday except for Friday, the day that Ritchie and Oz got married. Countless other weddings got cancelled, postponed, or rained on. Isn’t that incredible? Not a single drop of rain on this New York Brooklyn Botanical Garden Wedding!
And what an amazing experience this whole wedding was, I mean the fact that it was in NYC was already pretty exciting. I’ll tell you a few other things that were awesomely awesome. Oz and his groomsmen got ready at an old school barbershop with vintage chairs, accessories, and stylish barbers. That was the male equivalent of a day spa for women. The man cave, if you will. Oz’s ring is chain link ring! What?! I’ve never seen such a thing!! Also Ritchie and Oz (unknowingly) both got each other the same gift: a burberry watch. I also go to work with a super kick-ass video team called moetic which we jokingly dubbed ourselves “Team Destination” because last time I worked with them it was in Cabo San Lucas. I was also very excited to work with my very awesome second shooter Kaysha who took a lot of the beautiful details of the wedding and guys portraits!
Congratulations to Ritchie and Oz, you guys looked so amazing!!! Stay tuned for their trash the dress!
