Before I begin, let me give you a quick update on what’s going on in my life. I just came back from the beautiful city of NYC, I’ve gotten published in Popular Photography Magazine, I’m shooting an entire commercial campaign soon, I’ve shot a back to back wedding, and I got a new camera. So there’s quite a few things going on, which is why I haven’t blogged for about a week and a half.

So, moving on I am excited to present the  first half of Desiree and Claudell’s Wedding. Usually there’s a thing or two I love about a wedding, but for this wedding there were at least three. 1) Desiree presented me with delicious Porto’s bakery when I got to her bridal suite 2) Both Desiree’s parents and Claudells parents boogied-down on the dance floor and 3) Claudell’s a Laker fan. With a combination like that, you really can’t go wrong.

Desiree’s got to be one of the sweetest and most adorable brides I’ve ever worked with. When I arrived she said some of the most beautiful words I’ve ever heard: “These are for you.” She pointed at a table full of delicious foods. Then she briskly sat down with her hands clasped in her lap, and then looked up at me and asked, “What should I do right now? what else do you need? ” I just looked at her and I said “Relax, it’s your wedding day. Enjoy it!”

You know a man loves his shoes when he brings different pairs to his wedding. Of course I’m talking about Claudell. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has more shoes than Desiree, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he has names for his shoes. During the reception he had a wagon that had pretty much only one purpose, which was to carry his shoes. That was pretty epic.
