So let me tell you the main difference between Chinese/Asian food to American food.

The names of Chinese food sounds terrible, but the taste is amazing. For example “stinky tofu” or “pigs feet.” Sounds weird right? But man those taste amazing.
Conversely, American food sounds amazing, but taste…not that amazing.  For example “Sauerkraut-Stuffed Slow-Cooked Pork Roast.” Yeah it sounds good, but sometimes they just don’t taste that great.  And plus most of American food isn’t healthy.

Let me break down Chinese food for you a little more. You can tell how authentic a Chinese restaurant is by looking who’s serving the food.  If there are Chinese people serving food, then you’re good.  If white people are serving Chinese food, (i.e P.F Changs) yeah that’s not so great. The second, and very successful method goes like this…
Look at what letter they received for their Grade.
C = Chinese for sure. You’re at the right place. It’s authentic. Real Chinese food tastes good and dirty.
A=Americanized Chinese food. Chances are you’re at a Panda Express or the upscale Panda Express called P.F. Changs.  Lots of orange chicken, and nothing real.
B = inBetween, or Both, the happy medium.   You’ve got good food and you know you’re not going to have any stomach problems.

Yup, that’s my third entry today, and probably my last for today. I’m just so excited about blogging!

So this is supposed to be more of a wedding photography blog, so what’s a wedding photography blog without any wedding related photos right? Here are a few photos of a wedding I shot recently on March 14 2009, in other words 3.14.09.  OR you might say PI day. So they had pie at their wedding, really good pie by the way.  It was my first wedding with pie, it was super cool.  There’s always something different about every wedding, and that’s the beauty of weddings.

There are a few photos of these really cute kids.  The little dude looks like a future James Bond, look how charismatic he looks with his little lady friend.

April 9, 2009 The Royal Gents

Hello (blogging) world.  I am finally here.  I know I am late, but better late than never right?

This was supposed to be my first official post, but my real first official post got deleted because I am an idiot, and I accidentally deleted the first post after spending nearly half an hour on it.  But that’s how people learn right? From their mistakes.  So here I am recreating what I can remember from my first post.

First off, my website hasn’t been updated in what feels like years (but actually months), so it may seem like I haven’t shot anything for a while, but fear not I have been shooting plenty.  Today I would like to open up with some images that I shot this past Tuesday of a band called “The Royal Gents” they are not only talented but a fun group of people to hang out with.  What musicians aren’t?  So here are the images. I’ve shot them before in the past, so I was grateful that I was able to shoot them again.
