February 17, 2013 Joi and Arthur After Session. West Covina Session.
December 3, 2012 Meet Mary and Brams. Newport After Session.
What I love about the beach is it’s still beautiful and nice even when it’s cold. And what I love about sunny southern California is that even in the winter it’s not even really that cold.
But then again I wasn’t the bride or one of the bridesmaids in this shoot wearing nothing but a thin dress, and needless to say I wasn’t wearing what they we’re wearing standing right next to the water. Oh and it was windy, and it definitely wasn’t warm summer draft, it was a chilling wintery gust. All the girls in the shoot were super troopers. And because of the cold I had to shoot fast and talk fast which made the whole shoot a really long adrenaline rush for me, and it was a lot of fun.
This is my first after session/trash the dress session with the entire bridal party. Kinda cool!
October 31, 2012 Meet Kaitlin and Kevin! After session at UCLA
I like shooting on campuses because quite frankly, it makes me feel really young. And who doesn’t like feeling young? I carry a camera backpack which looks close enough to any other ordinary backpack and with that setup plus my casual clothes I totally felt like I was a student again. UCLA has such a fun, spirited, diverse campus which I really like. On this particular day there were a lot incoming/prospective freshman touring the campus and I couldn’t help but stare at them and be fascinated and a little jealous at the same time. I remember how much fun school was and how there weren’t really any real responsibilities. Oh the good old days!
My first time shooting at this beautiful Descanso Garden spot. It’s such a nice little hidden gym full of a variety of different flora, plants, and trees. Since it was a overcast day, this location was easily my visual playground that day. Descanso Garden provided us with beautiful gardens, meadows, cottages to work with….the whole place was eyegasmic. Yeah I used that word. Vy and Steven are so easy easy to photograph, they laugh a lot. I love people who laugh a lot. Such a fun day. I loved it!
