In Category: ‘Just me being me.’

Introducing !!! I have a lot of other work that I was really proud of but I didn’t want to put it on my wedding/portrait site, so I made another site so as not to clutter the sites. And I think it worked out wonderfully.

Also for my existing website , I am now using the music of the very wonderful and the very talented Clara C Music. She was this year’s JCPenny Breakout performer, and has had appearances at ICA, Be the Difference, and other great shows. She recently told me that she has booked a showing at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. She’s blowing up faster than a bag of popcorn. I am very proud of her and am very excited to see her grow (musically.)

I will also be photographing her next week as part of my ‘shoot a friend project’ and I have a couple of other shoot a friend projects this week that I will hopefully be posting up this weekend or beginning of next week. They will be bomb! I promise.

This is what Rosalva, my girlfriend, and I were for Halloween. If you don’t get it, it’s not because it’s a bad costume, it’s because you suck.

Okay so we’re John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Me being Yoko of course. We won some gift certificates with those costumes!

halloween Happy belated Halloween!

The day after we did a ‘biathlon’ (triathlon without swimming) in the mud. It’s called muddy buddy. I highly encourage it people who can’t swim like me. It’s so much more fun for someone like me. Oh, it’s also in the mud, hence, muddy buddy.

Seeing 95,000 all together at the same place at the same time is a beautiful sight. Seeing 95,000 people all together listening to and enjoying U2, is an amazingly beautiful sight.

I had the opportunity to go to the only (sold out) U2 show in California, and the largest crowd ever at the Pasadena Rosebowl. It was an incredible experience.  Seeing it with my girlfriend and a few other friend made it a a priceless experience.

Opening up for the show was the sensational Black Eyed Peas, which was my second time watching them perform.  Let me tell ya, they are very fun to watch and can put on pretty damn good show.  Guest performer Slash, from Guns and Roses surprised everyone at the end of BEP’s performance and had a duet with Fergie performing the very popular “Sweet Child of Mine.” So sweet. I didn’t put up any photos of their performances, sorry. It was really dark when they performed and I’m only shooting with a point and shoot.

But here’s a few photos of the live-youtube-broadcasted performance U2.  Also take a glance at the 170 ton stage that requires 333 people to build it and 120 trucks to transport it. Pretty amazing right?
