Yet another spread in Skinnie Magazine, this time it’s Fall Fashion! I’m super excited to announce the world (and you) that my work is in Skinnie Magazine again! I had such a wonderful and talented team that I worked with. Thank you Michelle (as always). Thank you Randy for doing video. Thank you Lyndzi for always doing some bad ass stylizing! It was soo good seeing you again Breanna, you rock! Barnett, you do so well in character, it’s kinda scary. Nicci, it was super good talking to you at the end. Ad Valerie and Dominik good job with everything, thank you so much!

Let me tell you a little bit about this editorial. It’s a cholo/chola inspired love story. It’s got a nice raw look to it. This was photographed in Long Beach, on a nice beautiful sunny day.  For lunch we had super awesome vegan tacos, and honestly some of the best tacos of my life. And they look soooo real! By real I mean, like you know, meat tacos. But they were in fact “soyrizo” tacos, a play off of chorizo. Clever. I wish I made that up, but I didn’t.

Big shoutout to Mark, Serena, Rosalva, Jade, Ian, and Bimbo (she’s a dog) for helping me out in this super awesome/amazing/spectacular (I ran out of adjectives) video!

So this awesome/amazing/spectacular video is of a Trash the Dress Video of Nicole and Daniel, AND they talk about me. I wasn’t there when they were interviewed so it’s kind of cool to hear what they had to say.  I plan to use this a lot to show potential clients and pretty much everyone. I am excited! I am excited! I’m still oogling.

On a sidenote, tomorrow morning I photograph Alli and Alex’s wedding and it’s going to be a fun one. Check out alliandalex.com . There engagement video will make you go “awwww.”

These are the tearsheets and photos from the Skinnie Magazine Swimsuit. It’s always nice to see your work being published. When I got these I had a quick moment of glory. Share it with me. WooSaahh. There’s actually a few more things that got published, and I’ll share those with you later, so we can have an extended woosaahh moment.

Meet Nicole and Daniel. Say hello. This might be hard to believe, but they aren’t models, they’re just regular non-model-y people just like you and me. But man they photograph well, don’t you think? Nicole and Daniel actually got married years ago, and they were one of my first few weddings that I’ve ever photographed in my entire life. They probably don’t know this but they helped me get my career off the ground by hiring me. A few years later, they decided that they wanted to do a trash the dress session, and here we are.

This shoot, in case you can’t tell is very fashion inspired. Daniel is a tall handsome man with freckles. Nicole is a young and beautiful woman, also with freckles. Freckles = fashion, duh! No just kidding but they are a really beautiful couple, and thats why I wanted to do a fashion type of shoot with them.I’d also like to describe this shoot, as “romantic, rustic, gorgeous, eye-gasmic, peaceful, and uh-may-zing.”

There’s a video coming out for this too, so you’ll be able to see what it was like working with them and in that environment, but better yet, this video is going to be very very different from the rest of my videos, so you’ll just have to wait to see what I’m talking about. Anyways, enjoy!
