After months and months of deliberation, mock-ups, and re-do’s my new logo is finally “finalized”.  It’s clean, simple, and modern.

Let me explain  I wanted some kind of symbolic icon as a supplement to my existing text-only logo because almost every major company has a their unique symbolic icon/logo.  And for good reason too, icons stand out a lot stronger than text.  I wanted something that could stand out on it’s own quickly and I believe I have created one.

I chose the color green because green symbolizes new life, and rebirth.  I also like the color green because I try to live a green life, and I think it’s important that we all do.  In case you didn’t see it my logo is the letter E and a backwards C which are my initials, and together they kind of form what resembles a sideways “on” button.  The “on” along with the color green symbolizes a revival for my photography, not that my photography was dying or anything, but it’s kind of like when your character in a role-playing-game levels up. Yay!

I also managed to make a quick trip to Denmark…no wait, I meant Solvang.

The main reason for my trip to Santa barbara..was to support my buddy Michael Tang in his second triathlon, which he did really well in!  Tang and I will probably be doing some more triathlons together in the future!

For this beautiful wedding, I had the privilege  to second shoot for Andrew Chen (druchen.com) another goateed, Converse-loving, talented Asian photographer.  I have been wanting to second shoot with him for a while because he has excellent work and he lives very close to me.  It’s been a while since I’ve second shot and I actually miss it, it’s a lot less stressful!  My job was to photograph the guys which is why in most of the photos it’s the gentlemen, but that’s alright guys are more fun and easier to shoot. Thanks Drew!

This is my first entirely Jewish wedding and not only was it my first Jewish wedding, it was my first wedding with the entire wedding in their house, hence ‘in da house!”

I call this one the point of no return. Ha, just kidding.

It’s supposed to be overflowing. I think it’s supposed to symbolize overflowing joy or goodness.
